Surfing has been a prominent part of Puerto Rican life for decades. The Northwestern corner of the island creates some of the best waves world wide for beginners and pros alike.
Our home beach, Playa Jobos provides surf for the first time surfer as well as the competing hopeful. Offering a point break on the outside, Playa Jobos gives the experienced ripper a chance to show their skills on the heavy right. For beginners, this beach offers a nice and easy sandbar break that stays light and calm, great for learning and lessons.
Being right down the coast of Jobos, Playa Middles offers a more difficult break. Opposed to Jobos, Middles offers a close to shore reef break wave. A steep fast wave is what makes Playa Middles a bit more fun for those who can handle.
In the deep Northwest corner, Surfers beach is for all surfers. Offering a very long right, with a short sharp left ride, it can accommodate a large crowd that gathers here. Multiple breaks on the beach help ease the amount of surfers that will be here. With the right swell, this break can create a monster wave for more experienced surfers.
